I bought this for a dual boot hackintosh which is connected to my normal mouse and keyboard through a thunderbolt dock. Occasionally the dock is not recognized on first boot into OSX and I'll have to unplug the keyboard from the dock, boot to Windows, make sure the system recognizes the dock, and then boot back into OSX and move the keyboard back to the dock. It's a real pain in my setup, so I started looking for something I could leave plugged into my system to navigate the bios with and this fit the bill. It's very compact, has only the necessary amount of keys, and will retain the programmed key functions even when running a different operating system. Assembly was super simple, even with the cheapest soldering iron I could find. I bought this with the green switches and the translucent caps, so it both looks and feels great. Shipping was quick, the service was everything you could expect from an e-tailer. I have literally no complaints.
Great product. The programming software is easy to use.
I've been using this keyboard for traditional rhythm gaming, and it works very well for my eccentric playing style.
I like that I'm able to move it accordingly for a variety of playing techniques that are suitable to me.
Everything was perfect. Easy to put together and program.
I bought one of these as a first time small project dipping my toes into soldering with keyboards. I followed the video that Maxkey had and I had no problems putting it together. I didn't get my switches with Maxkey, instead opting to go with some Kailh Chinese Reds from NovelKeys. The pad does everything I wanted it to do, and while the keybinding program is kind of clunky and I would have prefered QMK, it was still easy enough to use so I could create the macros I wanted. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small starter project to get into the hobby.
Build quality is great, quick and easy to assemble and fully customizable too.
Excellent quality of materials, fast delivery. The assembly was straightforward and fun, could be a nice gift idea for anyone into soldering and computers. Overall this product is great for anyone looking for extra accessibility with work and games and I would highly recommend.
