Purchasers receive a set of keycaps of varying profiles which all ultimately serve the same purpose in covering the keyswitches once assembled. I do not remember receiving instructions for keyswitch assembly, however it didn't take long to ascertain correct placement. I did place O-rings under every cap at first. Once I understood keyswitches do not require O-rings, I went through the process of removing them. I managed to place a keycap on backwards and had a tough time removing it after the fact. I placed keyswitches in a grouping based on their properties found by pressing them beforehand.

Once placed, I experimented wiith actuation (linear or tactile) to find the keyswitches I wanted for my next keyboard.

Ultimately I found assembly a bit confusing without direction, but navigable. It serves its purpose to provide a means of sampling keyswitch, keycap and O-ring combinations. While it served my use case, this review only takes into account the use case of trying out keys for a new keyboard.
Glad I bought it. Great to know how each switch feels. Seems a little expensive for what it is, but honestly I don't know what the individual parts would cost anyhow. Thanks for offering this useful tool.
Really handy. I decided to buy one of these before I actually spend the money on a keyboard and it helped me realize which switch would be best for me. Unfortunately, I found I like the rarest ones. Damn.
Great little kit for testing out switch types and also give you a chance to pull them apart and see how they work without worrying about destroying a key you need.

Also shipped to the UK in pretty decent time :)
Very useful. It changed my mind about clicky switchs and, eventually, I get a brown switch keyboard.
Helped me decide that Blues were too loud (I work in a cube farm) and that Brows are a little too soft. I'm thinking I might like the clears the best.
A simple, yet useful, well-desigend and -processed product that absolutely fulfills its purpose: Getting in touch (literally) with the different Cherry MX switches and finding the one that best suits one's eccentric whims. ^^
This kit is great for testing out cherry switches, plus it makes a neat little desktop toy!
This is a very good way to test all of the possible Cherry MX switches. The only reason I'm setting 4 stars of 5 is that I would like to have all of the switches doubled (maybe with higher price). Because currently I need to put or remove the O-Rings from the key to check the difference. This is annoying and is simple as simply having 2 same switches, one with O-Ring, and one without.
Has everything I wanted from a keyboard tester, clean and simple.
